A day on a farm with bobo choses
Hi Everyone! Well here I go with my first attempt at creating a journal post for Small Wonder! People have been telling me for a long time that it's something I should do, so it's time to shake off the nerves and give it a go. Hope you like it...
Pat and I decided recently that we should be creating more of our own content for our website and socials.
We have used our kids in instagram photos in the past, but it's getting harder and harder to get them to step in front of the camera. There's only so many bribes I can come up with, but we managed to get Teddy and some of his friends to help with photos and video for the launch of the new Bobo Choses AW23 collection....
Bobo was the first European brand I stocked at Small Wonder. It was always a brand I wanted to represent as it aligns with my core values as a business. It's a sustainable brand that focuses on producing quality pieces that are made in Portugal. They use organic fabrics, and recycled fabrics from past collections to reduce their wastage.
I encourage my customers to always buy consciously where they can, and to buy quality over quantity. Bobo Choses allows this as the quality is incredible, and if you size up you can get a few seasons from each piece and then pass them on to a friend.
Pat and I are are lucky enough to have friends who have a beautiful farm in Broken Head. They have created a kids wonderland with mini bikes, mini cars, and outside play areas for their young family. We've been thinking about it as a location to take some photos, and we finally made it happen on the most perfect Byron winters day.
We packed up the kids and a bag full of new Bobo Choses for a fun afternoon, and headed down the road to film and photograph the AW23 collection. As know getting kids to do as you ask is never easy, but the gang were pretty exited, and ice cream bribes helped!
I'll be posting the photos across our socials over the next few days as we get ready for the launch of the new collection Up is Down.
